Love Week Middleton
Love Week Middleton is an opportunity for our church to make an above-and-beyond effort to bless our community and region in Jesus’ name. This year, will we be directing our funds to two big projects:
1) Buy a Cow for the Twelve Baskets Food Bank. On Thanksgiving Sunday, we will be collecting money to purchase a cow to fill the freezers at the Food Bank with ground beef.
2) Winter Clothes for Kids - We will be collecting winter clothing for Annapolis East Elementary School to have on hand for children who show up to school without adequate clothing. New or good-quality used clothing will be accepted (gloves, hats, boots, jackets, and snow pants).
Saturday, Oct. 4, 9 am - Middleton Prayer Walk
Wednesday, Oct. 8 - Children at Half-Day and Youth at Dive Deeper participate.
Saturday, Oct. 11, 9 am - Community Clean Up
Sunday, Oct. 12, 10:45 am - Thanksgiving Sunday Worship Service (collect funds for meat and bring in winter clothes for kids at AEES)
Each of our small groups has been encouraged to consider a way that their group can participate in Love Week in some way.
