Administrative Assistant

Annual Salary: Based on qualifications and experience

Start Date of Position: Sept.1, 2020

Employment Tenure: Permanent position of which the first three months will be a probationary period. Position is 17.5 hours per week, presently from 8:30 am to noon – Monday to Friday, subject to change due to COVID-19.

Who can Apply: Persons who meet the basic qualifications of the position and who have a permanent residence in the local area.

Language Proficiency: English is essential.

Education and Experience: Successful completion of secondary or an acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered. A post-secondary one-year course in business, computers or management is an asset. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing administrative and clerical support in an office environment is preferred.

Work Environment: This position serves a multi-staff, faith-based office. The incumbent will need to take direction from different sources and be able to use discretion in making judgement calls with respect to priorities and required action.

Interim Director of Children’s Ministry

 

 
Our pastor of Children’s Ministries will be going on maternity leave in mid-August for at least 6 months. We are looking for someone who will fill her role on an interim basis starting September 1.
 

Are you passionate about working with children and families? Do you enjoy investing in the lives of young people? We are looking for an interim director of Children’s Ministry. Use your passion for children to help them grow in their love and knowledge of God. Encourage families as they pursue to grow in christ-likeness. Inspire young people to live boldly and bravely for Jesus. 

Salary: 15 – 20 hours per week
