Tamara Saulnier Awarded the Lieutenant Governor's Award


The Lieutenant Governor's Medal is awarded to one female and one male student in Grade 11 who has demonstrated qualities of leadership and service in the school and community, and commendable performance in the courses in which they are enrolled.

Tamara Saulnier, a grade 11 student at Middleton Regional High School, and is a member of our church. Tamara maintains Honors with Distinction and is highly involved with her community. She is currently on the Middleton Baptist Church's 2009 Kenya Missions Team and serves as a Youth Servant on her church's deacons board. At school she partcipates in groups such as the debate team, the model UN team, Middleton Christian Fellowship, the breakfast program and competes in track and field. Tamara has also attended Legion Leadership Camp and Francophone conferences such as Prends ta Place and la Rencountre Jeunesse Provincial. Tamara volunteers at Vacation Bible School, Relay for Life, and at various fundraising events, while maintaining a part-time job at Sobeys.
