Pastor Danny Smith

Senior Pastor

Pastor Danny grew up in Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia. He was raised in the church and has a deep love for the church of Christ. He is passionately committed to preaching the word of God and seeing the church reach its full potential as disciples of Christ, and as a people who reach out beyond the walls of our building in Jesus name both locally and globally. Danny began ministry at Middleton Baptist in 2001 as the Youth Pastor while studying at Acadia Divinity College. The next year he took on the role as Associate Student Pastor. In 2004 Danny was called by Middleton Baptist Church to be their Senior Pastor. Danny is a graduate of Atlantic Baptist University and Acadia Divinity College. He is married to Lisa and they have two beautiful children - Joshua and Hannah.

Pastor Holly Gosbee

Associate Pastor

Pastor Holly grew up in Nictaux, Nova Scotia and has called Middleton Baptist Church home since she was very young. Holly's main areas of ministry are in overseeing our children's programs, our family ministries, and our small group ministry. Along with that she oversees our hand bell choir, our youth praise team, and she assists with other areas of our music ministry as well. Holly joined the staff at MBC in 2005 after graduating from Briercrest Bible College and having worked at our church for three summers as a student intern. Holly and her husband Joey were married in April 2009. Holly has a passion to see children come to know the Lord and to be engaged in meaningful age appropriate worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Pastor Andy Scott

Youth Pastor

Andy grew up in St. John, New Brunswick. Previous to coming to MBC Andy served as the intern youth pastor at Main Street Baptist Church in St. John. Most recently Andy has been the director of Edith Lank Christian Camp on Campabello Island, NB. Andy is married to his wife Sandra, and they have a beautiful daughter named Savannah. Andy is a graduate of Bethany Bible College and is will be shortly beginning studies at Acadia Divinity College.

Andy's a big fan of The Water Project, a project started by a good friend of his.

Linda Hines

Secretary

Linda is a home grown Middleton girl. She grew up coming, along with her family, to Middleton Baptist Church. After a career working as a legal secretary and as a bank teller Linda came back home to Middleton. She has been serving at our church as our secretary since 1997. Her warm, helpful, and cheerful personality is a delight to all who come to our church office.

Jean Prosser

Organist/Choir Director

Jean lives in Melvern Square with her husband Robert, and their son Tim. Jean has a warm and bubbly personality and is loved by those she leads in our choir and music ministry. She has been a part of the staff here at Middleton Baptist since 2000.
